A leading manufacturer in the life sciences industry faced ongoing challenges in recruiting and retaining high-quality Production and QC employees. Frequent turnover and slow hiring times threatened to disrupt production schedules, putting additional strain on HR and hiring managers. Most roles began as six-month contract-to-hire positions, with a high percentage of successful conversions to direct employment.

Beyond recruitment, Joulé enhanced the contractor experience through several initiatives, including quarterly business reviews, contractor appreciation days, and direct engagement with the client’s employees through social events. Additionally, Joulé implemented a monthly newsletter to keep contractors informed and engaged, creating a workplace culture that prioritized communication and retention.

Time-to-fill, conversion, and turnover rates improved significantly thanks to the partnership. Lastly, many new hires now come through referrals, due to the positive contractor experience Joulé has cultivated.
